This resource is based on realistic
work situations and supports the ‘Assist with self medication’ competency
in the Community Service Training Package. It is targeted at aged
care and disability care workers working with clients who self
medicate in a home or community setting.
It can be used in the induction
and orientation of new staff, as a refresher, for in-house
training and for learners undertaking accredited courses in the
Community Services Training Package.
Available in DVD or video format and contains
a Trainers’ Resource Kit
on CD. The CD includes Trainers’ Notes on how to use this resource and
Learners’ Worksheets which can be customised for your organisation.
