Maree has extensive experience in marketing, communication and strategic development. She has successfully managed her own marketing, business and community development consultancy Ideas That Work for 12 years.
Prior to this, she held senior marketing and business development positions in the travel, finance and manufacturing industries.

Marketing, communication and strategic development projects include:

  • Assisting over 250 organisations in the corporate and community sectors with their market research and the development and implementation of their marketing strategies.
  • Working with Carer Respite Centre Southern Region to create an innovative communication, product development and branding campaign.
  • Initiating, researching and writing many successful submissions and funding proposals that have raised over $1.2 million in new funding for a range of community-based projects and services. For example, securing funding for a series of training for the home care and community sector.
  • Developing print, web-based and DVD communication and training tools.
  • Event management, publicity and communication strategies for the launching of new programs and services.
